In the 7th film of the series, Toni Hasler has to fight deep-seated prejudices and structural obstacles, to support Wanda, a young woman with Downs Syndrom, who suddenly discovers her career aspirations in midwifery. The films tells an unconventional story about inclusion, dreams and the courage to face life. Although Toni secretly mourns the missed chances with his colleague Luise, he still helps her to move in with her "new guy" Sami! After dragging things one whole day, Toni is also supposed to fill in as chauffeur for Wanda, Sami's younger sister with Downs Syndrome. But when he drives Wanda to the workshop for the handicapped, he receives an emergency call from a heavily pregnant woman. During the home birth, Wanda shows high level of stress resistance and proves to be a natural talent. Thus, she discovers her true career aspiration: Wanda desperately wants to become a midwife! Convinced by her, Toni persuades the initially skeptical instructor Evi to start an inclusion project offering education in midwifery for handicapped people. Soon the aspiring midwife assistant Wanda, who falls in love with Dennis, wants to shape her own life even more. While Toni firmly believes in his trainee, he has to convince Sami to see the opportunities more than the risks and support his sister.
